Overview
Heather works primarily with corporate, governmental, and multiemployer health plans on a variety of employee benefit issues. Her work includes:
- Subrogation matters related to self-funded and multiemployer health plans
- Compliance matters related to ERISA required disclosures
- Beneficiary matters related to proper distribution of 401(k) and defined benefit retirement accounts
Prior to working at MMPL, Heather was a government attorney for state and county agencies in Washington and Pennsylvania. She is an avid hiker and enthusiastic volunteer for Girl Scouts of Western Washington.
